Pre-event and post-event opportunities The Organising Committee of HERITAGE 2012 - 3rd International Conference on Heritage and Sustainable Development is seeking for volunteers with personal and/or professional motivation to help make the event an outstanding meeting for delegates arriving from all over the world. Volunteers will assist with conference programme execution, logistics, and conference activities. HERITAGE 2012 will bring together leading academics, researchers and practioners to present their ongoing work and research in building sustainability assessment methods and tools. Volunteers will attend to leading research and development presentations, experiencing contact with other cultures and heritage manifestations. HERITAGE 2012 will also provide experience for those who are interested in public relations, technical support, events organisation and management. Volunteers will have access to conference meals and to the last day's evening event. Volunteers will also receive conference documentation. Volunteers may participate (part-time) in the preparation of the Conference. volunteers may also participate (full-time) during Conference days. Volunteers will be kindly asked to dress according to an International Conference standard and will be given Green Lines Institute shirts, with identifying logo. Pre-event and post-event opportunities June 18 and June 23, 2012 Conference preparation – volunteers will assist with logistics and administrative preparations for the event. Conference closing – Volunteers will assist with final logistics and packing Conference material.
June 19 to 22, 2012 Greeters – greet conference delegates and guests and answer directional questions. General support – logistics and administrative assistants. Registration assistants – handle registration for conference delegates. Room assistants – assist delegates during parallel sessions. Technology assistants – assist delegates with presentations and technical issues regarding software, hardware, sound and video systems. Evening event assistants – assist delegates during social activities.
